Coronavirus (COVID-19) Company Impact & Actions

Re: Covid-19

Dear Customer,

Due to the ever-worsening Coronavirus pandemic throughout Europe and the UK we wanted to keep you informed of our actions at Rose Roofing. We are aware of the risks it presents and have been following closely and implementing the advice from the Government and Public Health England to ensure we protect the health of our workforce with regards to cleanliness, social distancing and ultimately isolation where required. As many companies have throughout the UK we have restricted access to our site, and put into place procedures which minimize the amount of contact our employees have with any authorized visitors. We have cancelled all non-essential travel and postponed face to face meetings as far as practicably possible.

If as widely expected and nature takes its course, the number of confirmed cases grow and the virus spreads further there will undoubtedly be an impact upon both our labour force and the labour forces of our key raw material partners. Obviously this is something we have very little control over and we would ask for your support and understanding whilst at all times trying to fulfill customer requirements.

As the Government, and Governments throughout Europe, will undoubtedly impose further restrictions on the movement of people and border controls it is highly likely to impact upon the flow of key raw materials from the continent, be that extended lead times due to haulage availability or ultimately failure in being able to obtain certain raw materials from certain countries. Whilst not wanting to scaremonger we can foresee those potential issues and whilst we are doing everything we can to mitigate those possible actions there are not alternative UK suppliers for a lot of those key components.

As we are all aware and repeatedly being told by the media this is a once in a generation scenario and ultimately we have to work together to face whatever challenges the coming months will bring.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding and should you require any further information please do not hesitate to email or phone your usual point of contact.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Sykes
